Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test - CUCET

Please visit the website - https://cucet.cuchd.in to register your profile. Once you get registered you need to pay ₹1000/-.

There are two phases of CUCET in which you can apply anytime from Nov 2023 onwards However, the deadlines for different phases are available on the website- https://cucet.cuchd.in.

Yes, you can appear in multiple phases of CUCET (CUCET-I, CUCET-II).Two attempts per phase is allowed. You can appear in the next attempt/phase by paying ₹500/-. Scholarship slabs are different for different phases.

The application form purchased offline will have a unique number. You have to fill this number while registering at https://cucet.cuchd.in. You don’t have to pay ₹1000/- again if form is purchased offline.

If you have not received any email/SMS after registration, you can email the details of your Application Number to cucet@cumail.in.

If you have got more than 90% in 10+2, you need not to take the entrance test (CUCET). But while appearing for CUCET, if 10+2 result is not declared so it is recommended to appear in CUCET. The mandatory programs are ( B.E, B.Pharmacy, MBA, Integrated Law programs (B.A+LLB, BBA+LLB, BCom+LLB) and B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture,Pharm D., Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology), Master of Pharmacy (Industrial Pharmacy)).

No, CUCET examination is conducted in online mode only. A student can appear using a laptop / PC with a camera. For more details visit https://cucet.cuchd.in

No, you can appear in the test from your home only.

The CUCET Test details will be sent on your CUCET registered Email ID.

There will be 100 multiple choice questions to be attempted in 120 minutes. For more information about the sample question papers, visit the website https://cucet.cuchd.in.

Yes, After successful registration student can appear for mock test, visit the website https://cucet.cuchd.in.

The medium for the exam will be English only. Whereas for students with 10+2 Arts one can choose Hindi as a subject

No, there will be no negative marking in CUCET.

In such cases of computer system failure or any other related problems, Student need to contact technical helpline numbers and can reach out us at cucet@cumail.in. Moreover, the time lost will be duly counted and compensated as every second will be recorded by the examination server.

If one appears in multiple phases of CUCET, your best score will be considered for scholarship purpose.

Yes, it is compulsory to clear the CUCET 2024 to be eligible for counseling process.

No, for the following courses, it is mandatory to clear CUCET and get shortlisted in counseling result to ensure admission:-

  • - Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry)

No, there is no counseling fee. There is a Rs 10000/- registration fees which is the part of the Tuition Fees to be paid while applying for counseling.

You have to apply for counseling through your registered CUCET portal only after clearing the CUCET 2024. https://cucet.cuchd.in/

As soon as you clear the CUCET 2024, you will get an option to apply for counseling on the same CUCET portal by paying registration fees and uploading SOP (Statement of Purpose).

Once you clear the CUCET 2024, the last date to apply for counseling will be intimated on your CUCET portal only.

No, candidate is allowed to appear in 1 counseling only.

SOP is Statement of Purpose that is written to the admission panel and talks about your career path, interests, professional contributions, goals and the driving force behind pursuing a particular program. https://cucet.cuchd.in/statement-of-purpose.php

You have to upload your SOP on your registered CUCET portal. https://cucet.cuchd.in/

The counseling is conducted through online mode only.

After paying registration fees and uploading SOP, you will get the notification about the counseling date on your registered CUCET portal and also receive an Email/SMS notification.

If you are shortlisted in the counseling result, then you have to submit the full fees within 5 days.

If you fail to submit the full fees within 5 days of counseling result declaration, then your seat will be cancelled.
