There are two phases of CUCET in which you can apply anytime from Nov 2024 onwards However, the deadlines for different phases are available on the website- https://cucet.cuchd.in.
Yes, you can appear in multiple phases of CUCET (CUCET-I, CUCET-II). Two attempts per phase is allowed. You can appear in the next attempt/phase by paying ₹500/-. Scholarship slabs are different for different phases.
The application form purchased offline will have a unique number. You have to fill this number while registering at https://cucet.cuchd.in. You don’t have to pay ₹1000/- again if form is purchased offline.
If you have not received any email/SMS after registration, you can email the details of your Application Number to cucet@cumail.in.
If you have achieved more than 90% in your 10+2 examinations, you are
exempted from taking the CUCET entrance test. However, if your 10+2
results have not yet been declared, it is recommended to appear for the
CUCET as a precautionary measure.
At Chandigarh University’s Punjab campus, the mandatory programs include
Bachelor of Engineering, Master of Business Administration (MBA) and
specialized MBA programs, integrated law programs (BA+LLB, BBA+LLB,
B.Com+LLB), Pharm D., Master of Pharmacy in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical
Chemistry, Pharmaceutics, and Industrial Pharmacy, Bachelor of Pharmacy
(B. Pharmacy), Master of Computer Applications (MCA) and specialized MCA
programs, and Master of Law (LLM).
For Chandigarh University’s Uttar Pradesh campus, the mandatory programs include
Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.), Master of Business Administration
(MBA) and specialized MBA programs, integrated law programs (BA+LLB,
BBA+LLB), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B. Pharmacy), and Master of Computer
Applications (MCA) along with specialized MCA programs.
No, CUCET examination is conducted in online mode only. A student can appear using a laptop / PC with a camera. For more details visit https://cucet.cuchd.in
No, you can appear in the test from your home only.

The medium for the exam will be English only. Whereas for students with 10+2 Arts one can choose Hindi as a subject
No, there will be no negative marking in CUCET.
In such cases of computer system failure or any other related problems, Student need to contact technical helpline numbers and can reach out us at cucet@cumail.in. Moreover, the time lost will be duly counted and compensated as every second will be recorded by the examination server.
If one appears in multiple phases of CUCET, your best score will be considered for scholarship purpose.

No. If one changes from Engineering to Non-Engineering, he needs to re-appear in CUCET again.
Scholarships Renewal Criteria & Renewal Process:
Scholarships once given will be for the entire duration of the program but subject to mandatory meeting of set norms which will be reviewed every year. Once the set norms are met, the scholarship shall be renewed.
Current Renewal Criteria
- CUCET Scholarship Recipients should apply for renewal every year.
- Performance: 7.5 CGPA at the end of each year.
- Student should not indulge in any activity of indiscipline.
- Student should not have E, F or I in any of the subject each year.
Note: Scholarship shall be discontinued if there is any case of indiscipline against the student at any point of time.
