About Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET 2025)

This mandatory national-level exam determines the eligibility of the students and also qualifies them for up to 100 percent scholarship for different academic programs offered at Chandigarh University campuses. It equips students with an incredible opportunity to explore their intrinsic potential and pave their way to success. The scholarship can be availed by students seeking admission to undergraduate or postgraduate programs.

Objective

The objective of CUCET is to demonstrate the university's commitment to enrolling deserving students based on merit and rewarding them with scholarships. This approach ensures transparency and objectivity in the administration and distribution of Chandigarh University's undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships.

The CUCET is mandatory for the courses mentioned below:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.)
  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharmacy)
  • Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Specialized MBA Programs
  • Integrated Law programs (B.A+LLB, BBA+LLB, BCom+LLB)
  • Pharm D.
  • Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry)
  • Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics)
  • Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology)
  • Master of Pharmacy (Industrial Pharmacy)
  • Master of Law (LLM)

Admissions are based solely on the CUCET Entrance Test, with an exception for those who secure more than 90% marks in the qualifying examination or up to 50,000 rank in JEE.

Scope

This policy applies to all the applicants aspiring to pursue Under-Graduate (UG) and Post-Graduate (PG) programmes at Chandigarh University for Scholarships.

For B.E., Pharmacy, Pharm D, Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutics), Master of Pharmacy (Pharmacology), Master of Pharmacy (Industrial Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) , MBA, and Specialized MBA Programs, Integrated Law programs (BA+LLB, BBA+LLB, B. Com+ LLB), Master of Law (LLM).
